My
first impression, like those of others was WOW! This is some pretty
substantial gear. The texture of the mesh Kevlar course to say the
least. Pretty stiff also, but that should I'm told soften with some seat
time. It almost seemed like some sort of modern
'chain mail' when I first felt it. The quality of the seams and
stitching seems
first rate.

Heavy zippers pull
cords snaps and webbings abound on the suit. The center flap which snaps
over the center zipper is made of uncoated (no plastic) Cordura.
The mesh or stretch
Kevlar is too thick to fold over to make the storm flap and only comes
in black according to Wayne.
I didn't like the color
combos of the grey mesh on the Motoport site. Thought
it looked like some kinda' marching band outfit, so I asked Wayne to
make it with the grey pockets & pocket flaps.
Full frontal shot.

Full rear shot. I also
ordered the optional reflective stripes down the sleeves. The elastic
strip keeps the chest armor in place and adds some back support. You can
also see both of the sleeve adjustment straps here. Also note the Velcro
adjustments at the bottom of the jacket.

One of the side jacket
adjustment straps.

The famous "Gringo"
sleeve pocket. Very handy!! Note the heavy duty zippers.

Here's the sleeve with
the zipper open. You can first snap the sleeve cuff to either of 2
button snaps and then when you zip the cuff it fits perfect. It's a bit
snug over my Aerostich elk skin gauntlets with both liners in, but it
works. Also note the strap to snug the sleeve. There is another one
further above the elbow.
